Our Goal
Increase employer accountability and strengthen the skills development pipeline through accessible recruitment, workplace accommodation, and structured pathways such as TVETs, SETAs, and learnerships.
Why This Matters
Persons with disabilities continue to face inaccessible recruitment and training, discrimination, inadequate workplace accommodation, and limited pathways into meaningful employment.
Our Work in This Area
The Network engages employers, government, SETAs, TVET colleges, training providers, and disability-sector organisations on accessible recruitment, reasonable accommodation, skills development, and employment pathways.
We circulate relevant job and learnership opportunities through Facebook, LinkedIn, and WhatsApp, and refer people who need specialised employment support to appropriate member organisations and supported-employment platforms.
The Network is also represented within the Cape Chamber of Commerce and Industry, providing a platform for engagement with the business community on disability inclusion and accessible employment.
